Benefits and Potential dangerous of the internet for children.

In today's society, the Internet has made its way into almost every  home. It is a well-known fact that the web is a valuable asset for research and learning. Unfortunately, it can also be a very dangerous place for children. With social networking sites , chat rooms, instant messaging, and online role-playing video games,  children are at access to almost anyone. 

Keeping tabs on our teens' online habits doesn't just keep them safe from online predators. More and more parents are becoming wary of the excessive hours their teens spend surfing the web, withdrawing from family, friends and activities they used to enjoy. Internet Addiction is a devastating problem facing far too many teens and their families.

Though the web is a great place for learning and can be safe for keeping in touch, it is important that families understand the potential risks and dangers to find a healthy balance between real and virtual life.

Benefits

Browsing the Internet is like having the world’s largest library and entertainment system at your fingertips. Kids are able to read stories, tour museums, visit other countries, play games, look at photos, shop, and do research to help with homework.

Potential Dangerous 

         

      Children may come across websites containing adult images or demeaning, racist, sexist, violent, or false information.

      Children may find it difficult to determine the credibility or reliability of information found on the Internet. Some mistakenly believe because something is posted online it must be true.

Mouse vs Touch Screen

People say that the mouse is going to die because touch screen is a much better way to communicate with the computer.But I think otherwise; mouse is certainly going nowhere. 
Remember that if you are using a mouse, you are not touching the screen and hence your view is not blocked. When you are using the touch screen, the view is blocked because your finger covers the screen.
I don`t say that the touch screen doesn’t have any advantages though. Carrying a mouse while you are traveling is a chore. Instead, it is much better to use the  touch screen. It also gives your gadget the ultra cool glam look if you you see only  the screen. Mouse can never come anywhere near a touch screen when it comes to flaunting gadgets. A mouse also consumes some power on the computer and hence you get a reduced battery life. The touchscreen may look a better way to use a computer than a mouse but we don’t think a mouse is fading anytime soon.
So...My conclusion is that THE TOUCH SCREEN is our future!!!

1.My first impression and expectations!!!

Hello! At first I want to share with you about my impressions! 

I really like our university,espicially IELTE! 

All the teachers really do their best! They give us a good knowledge!

And groupmates are very sociable!

Because I didn`t expect this...

For the matter of COMPUTER SKILLS.

Yes, I like it too , though the computer for me  is only a means to access the Internet!

One more thing that I really like it that I gained a useful knowledge on this subject ! Now I can  work with Microsoft Office Word!

Then I want to tell you about my expectations!

I am going to get more and more information , improve my knowledge , Computer Skills and English etc.
